Product Story
Geographical phenomena that remain mysterious in various parts of the world remind us of the extraordinary nature of the Earth. Located in the Indian Ocean, the island of Mauritius is home to the colourful sand dunes - one of these exceptional mysteries. These coloured sands, which are thought to be a 600-million-year-old phenomenon, are hypothesised to be formed by the reaction of volcanic lava with different minerals. Reminiscent of a colourful beach, which we call "Mauritius", each piece in this series is handmade. Each one is unique, and no two are exactly alike.
