The starting point of K'ai & Vrosi was to produce a value-added product that could be passed down from generation to generation by adapting the loincloth, which is now disappearing and has very few weaving masters. In this context, we have been instrumental in providing employment to local producers and contributing to their economy by making positive discrimination since 2018, thanks to you.
The loincloth is more than just a cover, it is a product of labor that goes through all kinds of troubles until it reaches the stage of touching it on the loom. What makes it so valuable is the craftsmen who keep the sound of the loom alive so that it does not disappear.
The weaving process, which started in the Black Sea, takes its final form in the hands of our leather master in Istanbul, after the mats are hand-woven in various public education centers or by housewives. Throughout this whole process, we adopt the slow production model without worrying about the season. In addition, we deliver them to you in fair conditions with all our stakeholders within the framework of the values they deserve.
