Bengü was a lawyer with a love for literature and arts. GABO of DIZA was named after Gabriel Marcia Marquez, whose works was admired by Bengü as a young woman. As a lawyer she studied, lived and worked in many cities including Turkey, United States, and United Kingdom. Her dedicated work, discipline and endurance helped her when she was ready to create her own muse.. The seeds of the brand were planted within this journey “I always craved for a unique leisure style, completely different than my corporate identity which I had to carry for long hours and endless days. So I started designing for myself. This had to be a style in which I feel light and comfortable with breathing natural fibers flatterring my skin.
