Reflect's first collection “Solidarity” aims the educational integration of Syrian refugee children living in Istanbul. It takes it's inspiration from the art therapy session conducted with Syrian refugee children living in Istanbul. The images that flowed from the imaginations of the children related to their experiences of war, immigration, chaos and living in refugee camps were interpreted by young designers and were embroidered on reflect products.
HARU means spring in Japanese. It is inspired from a refugee child's artwork created through art therapy activity and re-interpreted in collaboration with May Pann Pwint, a south-east Asia inspired designer from Myanmar.
