Product Story
The Cross of Lorraine was introduced from the Kingdom of Hungary to the Duchy of Lorraine. In Hungary, Béla III became the initial monarch to employ the two-barred cross as a representation of royal authority during the latter part of the 12th century. This design was likely borrowed from the Byzantine Empire.
